03/28/08: Busy Busy BzZz! I've spent a huge amount of time the last few months building up my craft business, so I haven't had as much time for my "personal" art as I'd like. I've been working on ink drawings, paper art doll templates and jewelry designs for my rubber stamp catalog. I had initially planned to spend this year doing more traditional art sales and personal fun projects, but I have to narrow my focus. I'm feeling the strain of spreading myself too thin! So it's time to reorganize my priorities. I would love to be doing a wide variety of projects to appeal to more people. Some things are going to have to wait, all these pending to-do-lists are driving me bonkers lol :) So first things first, If you're not interested in the crafty side of my art at my main website (the craft store at The Enchanted Gallery) it may be a little slow paced around here. Once I get caught up with creating craft project galleries for my products and starting up a blog (so people can actually get notified of updates) I will be back to making pretty paintings for all of you. I will be moving back to Portland Oregon next month all the way from Michigan, so I won't be updating again until sometime after the move. Just a random thought that turned into this: "From Magic We Are Born." 01/01/08 - A friend of mine joined a melodic death metal band and I have created artwork for them here - The Vala. (Their choice of subject matter, a little darker than my usual themes.) Update 12/04/07 - New "Flowering" part 1 & 2 drawings in traditional art. For sale on ebay this week. Update 11/27/07 - New dryad "Of the Earth" added to the Nature Spirits section. |
